James Hutchcraft

James Charles Hutchcraft, the son of the late Charley and Jessie Metcalf Hutchcraft, was born in Dexter on Nov. 24, 1928, and died at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at the age of 78.

He had been raised in Dexter and had lived in Poplar Bluff the past 35 years. He was retired from the Star Gas Station and was a Jehovah's Witness.

On April 1, 1949, he was married to Anna Lou Cutler in Bloomfield.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Lou Hutchcraft of Poplar Bluff; and one brother, Donald Hutchcraft of Dexter.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Ed Mangus of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
