Mary Sue Boyles, the daughter of the late William Luther and Mary Francis Britton Reed, was born in Howe, Okla., on Nov. 14, 1914, and died at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield on Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, at the age of 92.

She had lived in the Dexter and Bloomfield areas all of her life before entering the nursing home. She was a homemaker and member of the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are one son, George E. Boyles of Killian, Texas; three daughters, Millie M. Casey of Doniphan, Alice Parks of Bloomfield, and Lorene Friend of Troy; three sisters, Cathern Stephenson of Washington, Lizzy Brown of Arkansas, and Agnes Anderson of Texas; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two sisters, Maggie Griffin and Pearly Reed; three brothers, Johnny Reed, Willie Reed and Louis Reed; one son, William Elmer Boyles; and one daughter, Joyce Boyles.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Sue Welborn of Bloomfield officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
