Lawrence Ernest Glenn, son of the late Robert Edgar and Mary Carrie Buchanan Glenn, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in the Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn., at the age of 81.
Mr. Glenn was a retired pilot, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War where he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church and a native of Acorn Ridge.
Mr. Glenn was married to Theresa Wills. Mrs. Glenn survives.
Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters, Gaye Kelly of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Lisa Glenn of Milford, Conn.; one sister, Anna Allen of Bernie; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Graves and Holla Jarrell; and one brother, C.W. Glenn.
Funeral services were conducted in Centerville on Feb. 20, 2007, at the Centerville United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Pennington officiating.
Interment followed on Feb. 21, 2007, in the MIssouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
