Mrs. Parks had lived in the Dexter area all her life. She was a Baptist.
On July 4, 1942, she was married to Eugene Earl Parks. He preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 2005.
Surviving are one son, Dale Parks of Dexter; two daughters, Kathy Holt of Nampa, Idaho, and Jeanie Lantz of Columbia, S.C.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Hyslop of Dexter and Charles Hyslop of Birchtree; three sisters, Betty Summers of Dexter, Florence Bright of Jackson, and Bonnie Brown of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Coleman; a brother and sister in infancy; three brothers, Jim, Robert and Arthur Hyslop; and three sisters, Vivian Nichols, Mary Curd and Edna Harper.
There are no services scheduled.
Interment will follow at a later date in Fairview Cemetery near Puxico with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
