Cliff and June Manlove were married March 10, 1942, in Sacramento, Calif. Cliff graduated from flying school. June was formerly June Blakeney, daughter of D.W. and Blanche Blakeney of Dexter.

Cliff and June spent 29 years in the Air Force stationed at bases worldwide. They have five boys and one daughter. Cliff retired from the Air Force in June 1969 to Dexter, as the "best place in the world to live and raise a family".

Both June and Cliff are active and involved with community activities and organizations including their church, First United Methodist of Dexter.
