Frona Geneva Pruitt, 91, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Pruitt was born Nov. 26, 1915, in Swinton. She was a member of Cornerstone Tabernacle in Poplar Bluff and had retired as an inspector for Elders Garment Factory after 20 years of service. Mrs. Pruitt enjoyed working in her yard, planting flowers and gardening.
On Sept. 30, 1931, she was married to Carl Pruitt. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include three children, Dwain Pruitt of Florissant, and Vivian Moore and Carson Pruitt, both of Poplar Bluff; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cleta Rickert and Wyona Snider, both of Poplar Bluff; and two brothers, Dale Tolbert of Puxico and Meffort Tolbert of O'Fallon.
Visitation was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at the Cornerstone Tabernacle in Poplar Bluff.
The funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Rev. Bryan Parkey officiating.
Interment followed at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Stoddard County.
Cotrell Funeral Service of Poplar Bluff was in charge of arrangements.
