Richard "Richie" L. Sterling, Jr., the son of Rick Sterling and Sharon Parr Rowell, was born in Sikeston on June 4, 1969, and died in Sikeston on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at the age of 37.

He was a resident of Morehouse.

Surviving are one daughter, Lindsey Nicole Sterling of Sikeston; one son, Richard Lee Sterling, III, of Sikeston; his father and step-mother, Rick and Claire Sterling of Sikeston; his mother, Sharon Rowell of Morehouse; one brother, Ashley Doss Sterling of Sikeston; one sister, Michelle Sterling of Morehouse; his grandmother, Naomi Parr of the home in Morehouse; step-fathers, Russell Laminack and Rowell.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Morehouse with Bro. Jeff Wells of Marble Hill officiating.

Interment will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Morehouse in charge of all arrangements.
