Harold Arden Davis, the son of Malinda Davis and the late Charles Arden Davis, was born in Dexter on July 16, 1949, and died at his home near Dudley on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at the age of 57.
Harold had spent his entire life in the Essex, Dexter and Dudley area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served in Vietnam.
On March 16, 1973, he was married to Patsy "Dee" Johnson in Essex.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy "Dee" Davis of Dudley; one son, Harold Allen Davis of Dudley; one daughter, Amanda Kaye Davis of Dudley; four grandchildren; his mother, Malinda Davis of Essex; two brothers, Jerry Francis Davis of Dexter and Jimmy Gale Davis of Wappapello; and one sister, Luella "Lu" Fay Smith of Wappapello.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Bro. Rick Williams of Parma officiating.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military rites conducted by the Stoddard County Veterans Honor Team. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
