Gladys Vivian Thompson

Gladys Vivian Thompson, 96, 1616 Cedar Street, Lawrenceville, Ill., formerly of Dexter, died at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Ill., on Saturday, April 14, 2007, at 4:55 p.m.

She was the daughter of John F. and V.F. Coleman born on Jan. 12, 1911, in Herrin, Ill. She married Oscar B. Thompson, and he preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and salesclerk for a furniture store.

Graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Murphysboro, Ill.

Local arrangements were handled by Smith Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Ill.
