Mr. Edmonds had been a welder at Cato's in Bernie, was a mechanic and a resident of Bernie.
Survivors include his long-time companion, Sharon Cato of Bernie; two daughters, Amy Lovelady and Shelly Todd, both of Bernie; one brother, William Eugene Edmonds of Parma; one sister, Betty Stanfield of Bernie; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arvel Edward Edmonds and Virgil Edmonds, Jr.; and one sister, Geneva Rodgers.
A memorial service was held at The Bernie Alliance Church in Bernie beginning at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007, with Rev. Cletus Patterson, Jr. officiating.
