Ed and Pam Schettler of Afton announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jill Schettler, to Jason Alsup, son of Ronnie Alsup and Roger and Janet Jordan, all of whom are from Dexter.

Jill is a 1998 agraduate of Bayless High School. After graduating, Jill attended Meramec Community College where she received her assocate's degree and then went on to obtain her bachelor's degree in 2004 from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She is currently employed at First Service Bank in Sunset Hills.

Jason is a 2000 graduate of Dexter High School. After graduating, Jason attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau where he obtained a bachelor's degree in agriculture in 2004. He is currently employed at Pfizer, Inc., in Chesterfield.

The wedding will take place on July 7, 2007, at Destiny Church in St. Louis.
