Pauline W. Fields, daughter of the late Travis Williams and Fannie Belle Crabtree Williams was born on Oct. 13, 1914, at Lake County, Tenn., and died in the Crowley Ridge Care Center at Dexter on May 13, 2007, at the age of 92.

Mrs. Fields was a former employee with State Hospital #1 in Fulton and a resident of Dexter.

On April 25, 1932, she was united in marriage to Rufus F. Fields at New Madrid. Mr. Fields preceded her in death on May 4, 2001.

Survivors include three sons, Gene Fields of Dexter, Jeff Fields of Springfield, and Kenneth Fields of Republic; by two daughters, Gladys Chase of Dexter and Margaret Adams of Bernie; also by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Williams; by two sisters, Ida Chambers and Betty Price.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 1-l 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007.

Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dan Sitze officiating.

Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery at Dexter.
