Jolliff, Githens

Thursday, May 17, 2007

Pam and Perry Jolliff announce the wedding of their daughter Haylee Elizabethanne Jolliff to Joey Todd Githens, son of Jay and Terry Githens of Poplar Bluff.

At sunset, April 23, 2007, the couple was united in marriage on the beach at Cancun, Mexico, in the presence of 21 family members and friends.

Two pedestals of tropical flowers and an arch was the back drop on the beach with the ocean's roar and sea breezes blowing.

Perry Jolliff, father of the bride, escorted Haylee down an aisle of rose petals and sea shells.

The maid of honor was Danielle Palmer of Dexter with Lea Ann Clark, aunt of the bride from Dexter, and Amy Githens, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, serving as attendants.

The best man was Jason Githens, brother of the bridegroom from Seattle Wash. Jeff Githens of Atlanta, Ga., and Shawn Howe of Poplar Bluff were groomsmen.

After the honeymoon, the couple returned to Poplar Bluff where they now make their home.

A celebration honoring the couple will be held May 19, 2007, at the Bloodworth House in Poplar Bluff.
