Inez Boone, daughter of the late Edgar Spencer and Gertrude Dozer Hare, was born in Fulton, Miss., on Sept. 4, 1916, and died at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Sunday, May 20, 2007, at the age of 90.

Mrs. Boone had lived in Essex since 1946. She had attended the Harvest Assembly of God Church in Essex.

On Feb. 12, 1949, she was married to Luther Boone in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1973.

Surviving are one daughter, Jessie Faye Eaton of Blytheville, Ark.; one son, John Flanigan of Essex; two brothers, James Hare of Essex and Eddie Hare of Wappapello; two sisters, Charley May Wood of Fulton, Miss., and Marie Young of Wappapello.

She was preceded in death by one grandson; three brothers, Cecil, Winfred and Edgar Hare.

Visitation will be held after 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Doyle Corlew of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
