Karen Sue Magee Stoker, daughter of Dalene Thomasson Clayton of Wardell and the late Russell A. Magee, was born on Aug. 17, 1943, at Poplar Bluff and died in her residence at Dexter on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the age of 63.

She was the owner of the Last Chance Cafe in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include one son, Russell Eugene Stoker and wife Donna of Poplar Bluff; her fiancé Richard Fisher of the home in Dexter; her mother, Dalene Clayton of Wardell; one sister, Judy Acord of Dexter; two grandchildren, Aaron Stoker and Brett Stoker; a special friend and sister, Silver Shadow of Clarksville, Tenn.; and one niece, Teresa Smith of Dexter.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007, at the Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Roger Wooten officiating. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Charles Carroll Memorial Fund at the Bloomfield Middle School or to the American Cancer Society.
