Jim and Kristi Hook announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Caitlin, to Steven Carrillo, son of Ray and Leigh Ann Carrillo of Dexter.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hicks, Ann Hook and the late James R. Hook, and Delphia Duckworth of Essex. A 2007 graduate of Dexter High School, Caitlin plans to attend Missouri State University to pursue a career in nursing and is currently employed by Town Pharmacy in Bloomfield.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Sneed of Dexter, Pedro Carrillo of Reno, Nev., and the late Cozy Thurlkill. Steven is a 2005 graduate of Dexter High School and is employed by Hook's Construction, while he pursues a career as a physician's assistant at Missouri State University.

Wedding vows will be exchanged June 9 at Living Water Worship Center in Bloomfield.
