Vega Ethel Windle was born April 6, 1923, at Blanch and died Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at her home in Dexter.

She had been a resident of Dexter for 19 years.

On Dec. 7, 1946, she was united in marriage to Raymond Pleze Windle in Piggott, Ark., and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1986.

Her hobbies were quilting, gardening, sewing and cooking. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include three daughters, Jenny Mitchell of Dudley, Peggy Keele of Williamsville, and Vicki Fisher of Dexter; two sisters, Veda Hulvey of Pocahontas, Ark., and Uledene Delaney of Rector, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel.

Interment will follow in Kinsey Cemetery near Harviell.
