Dora Jackson

Dora Jackson, daughter of the late Earl and Eula Bradford Wolfe, was born in Como, Miss., on Nov. 2, 1914, and died in Bloomfield on May 31, 2007, at the age of 92.

Mrs. Jackson had lived in Como, Miss., before moving to Dexter in 1941. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter.

On Nov. 20, 1936, she was married to Cullen Jackson in Como. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1993.

Surviving are one daughter, Earlene Jackson of Dexter; two sons, Bob Jackson of Imperial and Eugene Jackson of Bloomfield; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ida Childress and Mildred Gamble, both of Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Esteen and Curtis Wolfe; and one sister, Bess Lee Maple.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Mike Kohlbaker of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
