Ed and Virginia Mangus were favored with a 50th anniversary party at the Hidden Trails Country Club. Their four children, Scott, Brad, Dan, Suzie and families hosted the fun event. All of their family including seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, were there. About 45 people attended, all family or extended family from the Dexter, Cape and St. Louis areas.

It was an event of fond memories with a slide program, skits, games, along with music that was provided by the local band, the Flashbacks.
