Ora Teeters, the son of the late Ora Lynnville and Floye Mae Rhoda Teeters, was born in Holcomb on April 26, 1931, and died at his home in Circle City on Sunday June 3, 2007, at the age of 76.

Mr. Teeters had lived in Essex most of his life. He was a retired automobile mechanic and was a member of the Taylor General Baptist Church near Essex. On March 1, 1960, he was married to Nadine Horn in Essex.

Surviving are his wife, Nadine Teeters of Essex; one daughter, Tammy Richard of Patterson, La.; two sons, Joey Teeters of Essex and Jerry Teeters of Bloomfield; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

He was proceeded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Teeters and one sister, Louise Ritch.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Jerry Pennington of Puxico officiating.

Interment will follow in Piggott, Ark., with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
