Mrs. Ferguson had lived in Dexter most of her life. She worked as a supervisor at the Stoddard County Sheltered Workshop before her retirement and was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Allen Tandski of Dexter, Derill Ferguson, Jr. of Hartville, Ohio; three daughters, Brinda Wallis, LaVerne Tinker and LaVeda Banken, all of Dexter; 14 grandchildren: Richard, Michael and Savanna Tandski, Jim Wallis, Melinda Keys, Martin Wallis, Jason and Lance Banken, Leslie Noles, Joyce Snider, Yvonne Bosson, Michelle, Raquel and Samantha Ferguson; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Gene Gillis; and one sister, Olive Ellis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007, after 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2007, at Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Bro. Dale Grissom of Dexter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
