Myrtle Foster, daughter of the late Charles Williams and Bertha Hallmark Williams, was born on Oct. 9, 1929, in Michigan and died at her residence in Dexter on June 6, 2007, at the age of 77.

Mrs. Foster was a home-maker and a resident of Dexter.

Myrtle was united in marriage to Carl V. Foster on July 24, 1946, in Dexter. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 2005.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue Carney and Diane Walker, both of Dexter; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter at 12 p.m. with Larry Carney officiating.

Interment will follow at the Dexter Cemetery.
