Roger J. Chubb, 64, of Lowndes, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born June 15, 1942, in Rhodes, Mich., son of John and Leona Rogers Chubb. He and Naomi Moss were married June 16, 1962, at Zalma.

Chubb was a retired carpenter and a member of Community Church of Christ at Lowndes.

Survivors include three sons, Stanley Chubb of Zalma, Brandon Chubb of Lowndes, and Matthew Chubb of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two daughters, Penny Hurt of Advance and Janell Patterson of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Patsy Charles of Defiance; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Visitation was held from 12-2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2007 at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. The funeral was conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2007 at the funeral home with Revs. Jack and Dale Rogers officiating.

Interment was in Community Church of Christ Cemetery in Lowndes.
