Margie L. Boyle, daughter of the late James Walter Livingston and Maude Belle Bonner Livingston, was born on Nov. 26, 1921, at Bernie and died in the Malden Nursing Center on Friday, June 22, 2007, at the age of 85.

Mrs. Boyle was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist church of Bernie and a resident of rural Bernie.

She was united in marriage to L.E. Boyle on May 16, 1942, at Piggott, Ark. Mr. Boyle preceded his wife in death on March 13, 1983.

Survivors include three sons, Jim Boyle of St. Charles, Steve Boyle of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Terry Boyle of Trenton, Ill.; two daughters, Krista Lott and Merri Beth Bryan, both of Bernie; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by three brothers, George Livingston, Robert Livingston and Ralph Livingston; and one sister, Geneva Pyle.

Graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, in the Bernie Cemetery. Interment followed.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie was in charge of arrangements.
