Rita Marie Campagna

Rita Marie Campagna, daughter of the late Walter Casey and Lula Mitchell Casey Fann, was born in Shiloh on April 2, 1916, and died at the Puxico Nursing Center on Sunday, June 24, 2007, at the age of 91.

Mrs. Campagna was raised in Puxico and had lived in Memphis, Tenn., until returning to Puxico in 1976. She had worked at the Sears Department Store in Memphis for 35 years in the audit department. She had attended the Puxico United Methodist Church.

On May 16, 1944, she was married to A.G. "Tony" Campagna in Hernando, Miss. He preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1990.

Surviving are one brother, Doug Fann of Puxico and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Helton and Thelma "Toots" Kuehn; and one brother, Cecil Casey.

Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico.

Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
