Eunice Gertrude Busby

Eunice G. Busby, daughter of the late Phillip A. Dees and Josie Myers Dees, was born on June 8, 1935, in Chaffee and died at her residence in Dexter on June 25, 2007, at the age of 72.

Mrs. Busby was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church, a former employee of Elder Manufacturing Company in Dexter, and a resident of Dexter.

On July 9, 1955, she was united in marriage to Paul David Busby in Bloomfield. Mr. Busby preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1998.

Survivors include one son, David Busby of Dexter; one daughter, Cynthia Busby of Dexter; one brother, Paul Dees of Dexter; and one sister, Virginia Summers of Dexter; and one granddaughter, Christina Busby of Dexter.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Ann Scott.

Visitation was held from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Winferd Wren officiating.

Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
