Veda Hall, daughter of the late Verdo Rodery and Edith Waggener Rodery, was born on July 16, 1915, in Rector , Ark., and died at her residence in Bernie on Monday, July 2, 2007, at the age of 91.
Mrs. Hall was a former welder with Kaiser Ship Yard and a resident of Bernie for the past five years.
She was first united in marriage to Wayne Griffith. Mr. Griffith preceded her in death. In 1952 she was united in marriage to John Hall in Festus. Mr. Hall preceded her in death on August 30, 1985.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Griffith of Wappapello and Kenneth Ray Hall of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Gretta Sue Griffith Nelson of Bernie, and Sheria Hall of Malden; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; also three sisters, Virginia Lee Jackson of Corpus Christi, Texas, Earlene Romine of Illinois, and Viola Cooper of Florida.
Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 10:00 until Noon Thursday, July 5, 2007.
Graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
