Sherry Duncan, daughter of James Howard Rhoades of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Dexter and the late Ruby Thelma Frazier Rhoades, was born on March 8, 1941, in Matthews and died on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff at the age of 66.

Ms. Duncan was formerly employed with Home Health Care in Dexter as a nursing aide, a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter, and a resident of Dexter.

Besides her father, James Rhoades, other survivors include two sons, Tim Duncan of Dyersburg, Tenn., and James Duncan of Broseley; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Thelma Rhoades.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2007.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 7, 2007, at 10 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Mike Kohlbaker and Dr. Bob Miller officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
