Raymond C. Foege, son of the late Charles W. Foege and Kathryn Gehl Foege, was born on July 6, 1928, in St. Louis and died at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff on July7, 2007, at the age of 79.

Mr. Foege was a former milkman, a foreman at the University of Illinois, and plant manager for Cleveland Armstrong. Raymond was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield and a resident of Bloomfield.

On Oct. 19, 1967, he was united in marriage to Verba Link at Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Foege survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Besides his wife Verba Foege, other survivors include one daughter, Marsha Lee Wronski of Tuscon, Ariz.; one sister, Doris Gavert of Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be conducted at the Walker Cemetery at a later date for family only at the prior request of Raymond Foege.
