Wilburn Webb Reeves, son of the late Jesse James Reeves and Dovie Sue Worley Reeves, was born on Sept. 7, 1934, at Parma and died in the Golden Living Center at Dexter on Saturday, July 7, 2007, at the age of 72.
Mr. Reeves was the former owner of Reeves Nursing Home in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Juanita May in April of 1962 at Acorn Ridge. Mrs. Reeves preceded him in death on July 11, 1990.
Survivors include three sons, Wilburn Webbie Reeves of Cape Girardeau, Creg Ramsey of Chaffee and Greg Ramsey of Bee Branch, Ark.; two daughters, Kim Marie Wilson and Tina Louise Wagner, both of Bay City, Mich.; one brother, Gary Reeves of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Norma Jean Moore of Bernie, Yvonne Wineman of Bonne Terre, Janice Parker of Ackworth, Ga., and Donna Underwood of Cape Girardeau; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, William Reeves, Raymond Reeves, Tom Reeves and Dennis Reeves; three sisters, Shirley Cox, Pansy Miller and Linda Reeves.
Visitation will be held from 10:30-11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Michael Parker officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
