Mr. Perry was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis after 37 years and had been a resident of Sikeston since 1993.
Survivors include his wife Helen Perry of the home in Sikeston; three sons, Ronald Perry of Waterford, Mich., John Perry of St. Charles, and Pete Cantrell of Sikeston; three daughters, Shell Walters and Debbie Cantrell, both of Sikeston, and Ellie Capps of Advance; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Perry; and one sister, Mariam Whitley.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2007, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Patrick Hagen officiating.
Interment followed in the Walker Cemetery with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of all arrangements.
