Virgie Mae Brown, daughter of the late Pat Jackson and Hattie Gregory Goode, was born in Parma on June 20, 1922, and died at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at the age of 85.

Ms. Brown had lived in Southeast Missouri and Dexter all her life. She was affiliated with the Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Virdie Goode and Margaret Goode.

Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Doyle Corlew of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
