Anna Pauline Miers Hopkins Limbaugh, daughter of the late Charles Willard and Anna Wyatte Miers Hopkins, was born in Stoddard County on April 17, 1925, and died at Delmar Gardens in Chesterfield on Thursday, July 19, 2007, at the age of 82.

Mrs. Limbaugh had lived in Puxico all her life until moving to St. Louis area in 2000. She was a member of the West Side General Baptist Church in St. Ann.

On Dec. 24, 1943, she was married to Carl Lindell Limbaugh in Puxico, and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1993.

Surviving are two daughters, Charlotte Hays of Poplar Bluff and Bonnie Rowe of Maryland Heights; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; two brothers, Ray Hopkins of Overland and Earl Kimbrell of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Beulah Renfroe of Poplar Bluff and Kathryn Arunski of Ulmatilla, Fla.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Morgan and Carolyn Shell; and two brothers, Norman Hopkins and Alvin Kimbrell.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. James Hamlett of Risco officiating.

Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
