Nicholas Joseph Hartline, son of Scott and Donna Litzler Hartline of Dexter, was born on Feb. 3, 1983, at Alton, Ill., and died in the St. Louis University Hospital on Saturday, July 21, 2007, at the age of 24.

Nicholas was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter, had attended the Missouri State School, was employed as an assembler with the Stoddard County Day Activity Center in Dexter, and a resident of Dexter.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Donna Litzler Hartline of Dexter; his maternal grandparents, Ron and Rose Litzler of East Alton, Ill.; his paternal grandparents, John and Gerl Hartline of Dexter.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter with Father David Dohogne officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
