Linda worked for many years as an identification technician for the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Besides being a mother, grandmother, and teacher, she was an artist. Along with other artists' works, one of her paintings was selected by the American Water Color Society to be on exhibit in major cities throughout the United States.
Surviving are her adult children, Anna Marie Irons and Andrew Boyt; two grandchildren, Samuel and Alexander, all of Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Judith Jaeger of Dexter.
After cremation and a remembrance service, her ashes will be scattered in the Animas River in Durango, Colo., where she spent some of her happiest days.
