Carl and Delilah Loyd of Malden announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Trina Dawn Loyd, to Ronald Lynn Johnson, son of Ronald and Rebecca Johnson of Essex.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Malden High School and is employed with the family business at The Malden Flower Shop.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Dexter High School. He is an OIF I, II veteran with the 1221st Trans. Co. in Dexter, an instructor with the Missouri National Guard, and is employed as a real estate agent with Sherry Burnett Realty in Dexter.

The wedding will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Dexter.

All friends and family are invited to attend.

After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple plans to reside in Dexter.
