Aslin, Barton

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Aslin of Bloomfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Lynae Aslin, to Bret Nicholas Barton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Loper of Flora, Miss., and the late Roy Curtis Barton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Asbell, Mr. Gorty Aslin, and the late Betty Aslin of Bloomfield.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late J.B. Hamblett and the late Dot Hamblett of Cleveland, Miss., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Barton of London, Ky.

Miss Aslin is a graduate of Bloomfield High School and Southeast Missouri University. She is now employed as a pharmaceutical sales specialist with the AstraZeneca Pharmaceutical Company in Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. Barton is a graduate of Hillcrest Christian High School and Mississippi State University. He is employed by R.S.C. Equipment Rental as a senior account manager in Memphis.

The couple will exchange vows on Sept. 22, 2007, at Francine's Gardens in Cape Girardeau.
