Naomi Miller, daughter of the late Charlie Temples and Mollie McClard Temples, was born on July 5, 1911, in Stoddard County and died at her residence in Dexter on Aug. 15, 2007, at the age of 96.

Mrs. Miller was affiliated with the Pleasant Grove Community Church near Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to George William Miller on Jan. 13, 1926, in Piggott, Ark. Mr. Miller preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1972.

Mrs. Miller is survived by one son, Franklin Miller of Dexter; one daughter, Doris K. Williamson of Essex; one brother, Edward Temples of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Addie Thieke of Kokomo, Ind., Charlene Middleton and Evelyn Hunt, both of Dexter; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Deloris Jean Sexton; three brothers, Samuel Temples, Thomas Temples and Fred Temples; three sisters, Ruth Corlies, Julie Ivester and Gladys Spore; and two grandchildren, Tony Miller and Kimberly Miller

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, 2007.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
