Wesley Leon Jones, son of the late Lester Monroe Jones and Dollie Clark Jones Jenkins, was born on March 26, 1956, at Fulton, Mich., and died in his residence at Jackson on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at the age of 51.

Mr. Jones was the general manager of the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store at Cape Girardeau and a resident of Jackson.

He was united in marriage to Melinda Bostic on Feb. 14, 2003, at Effingham, Ill. Mrs. Jones survives of the home in Jackson.

Besides his wife, survivors include three sons, Chris Jones of Cape Girardeau, Richard Jones of Bloomfield, and Steven Jones of St. Louis; one daughter, Jessica Hutchison of St. Louis; one brother, Hilbert Monroe Jones of Sulphur, La.; two sisters, Doris Elder of Dexter and Margaret Pauling of Freemont, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Winferd Wren officiating.

Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
