Lucille Collins, daughter of the late Willie Stephens and Dollie Lucille Mason Stephens was born on October 9, 1925 at Bernie and died at her residence in Bernie on August 30, 2007 at the age of 81.

Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and was a member of the Bernie Assembly of God Church.

She was united in marriage to Earl Collins on June 6, 1943 at Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1994.

Survivors include two brothers, Gary Stephens of Starke, Fla. and Donald Ray Stephens of Bernie; one sister, Wanda Smith of Bernie; also by extended family, Steve Moore of Dexter, Derik Moore of Bernie and Trevor Moore of Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 5:30-8 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2007 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Kent Kassinger and Rev. Jim Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
