Judy Moore, daughter of Vivian Hunt Patterson of Dexter and the late William Henry Patterson, was born on Dec. 21, 1947, at Dexter and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at the age of 59.

Mrs. Moore was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter, a former administrative assistant in the Department of Opthamology for the University of Texas, Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and a resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Frank Moore on June 25, 1966, at Dexter. Mr. Moore survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by one daughter, Monica L. Miller of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Joshua Miller and Kaleb Miller, both of Houston, Texas; and two sisters, Pauline Levart of Dexter and Linda Williams of Bloomfield.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Lee Patterson.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Louis Lowe officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
