Judy Ruth Banks, 58, of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Magnolia, Ark., died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
She was born Nov. 7, 1948, in Dexter. She was a homemaker and a member of Jackson Street Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by parents, Theodore Roosevelt and Wilma Ruth (Young) Eaton, husband Robert Earl Banks, and a granddaughter, Daisy Rhiannon Banks.
She is survived by two daughters, Penny Dew of Magnolia, Ark., Heather Williams and her husband Richie of Jonesboro, Ark.; brother, Terry Eaton of Bloomfield; sister, Jan Mangus of Dexter; two grandsons, Dylan Dew and Triston Kirkley, both of Magnolia, Ark. two granddaughters, Maddie Kirkley of Magnolia, Ark., and Dixie Williams of Jonesboro, Ark.; father-in-law, Robert M. Banks, of Fouke, Ark.; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marc Reeves officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia.
Family visitation was held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Pallbearers were Scott Holt, John Campbell, David Campbell, Matt Taylor, Gary Eaton, and Joseph Eaton.
