Anna Mae Essary

Anna Mae Essary was born May 20, 1922, at Puxico and died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Anderson, Ind.

On July 5, 1947, she was married to Vernon Hugo Essary, and he preceded her in death.

She had been a clerk at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and the Puxico General Baptist Church.

Survivors include three children, Gloria Young of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Nancy Klinger of Anderson, Ind., and James Essary of Tabor, Iowa; two brothers, Floyd Barnfield of Imperial and Benton Barnfield of Dexter; and four sisters, Marie St. Clair of Dexter, Ruth Lewis of Ohio, Helen Lovelace Kitchen of Dexter, and Martha Weller of Illinois.

Visitation will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at Morgan Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico.

The funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. at Morgan Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico with Jim Essary officiating.

Interment will follow in Brown Church Cemetery.
