Mr. Hyslop had spent all his life in the Bloomfield community and was a member of Hill's General Baptist Church near Bloomfield. On Jan. 17, 1937, he was married to Mildred Edwards.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Hyslop of Dexter; one son, John Hyslop of New Bloomfield; one daughter, Bonnie Lynn of Cullman, Ala.; one brother, Charles Hyslop of Birch Tree; three sisters, Bonnie Brown of St. Louis, Florence Bright of Jackson, and Betty Jo Summers of Dexter; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Gerald King officiating.
Interment followed in the Hills Cemetery near Bloomfield.
