Pauline Roslen, the daughter of the late Paul Edward and Rose Lee McMillin Sorter, was born in Grants, N.M., on Aug. 28, 1940, and died at her home near Sikeston on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at the age of 67.

Mrs. Roslen had lived in Essex for 25 years and had lived in the Sikeston area the past 25 years.

On Oct. 6, 1956, she was married to Gilbert E. Roslen in Holbrook, Ariz.

Surviving are her husband, Gilbert E. Roslen of Sikeston; two sons, Gilbert Roslen, Jr. of Oran and Paul David Roslen of Chaffee; one daughter, Pamela Wisdom of Sikeston; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two step-sisters, Shirley Osborn of Dustin, Okla., and Judy Russell of Okechobee, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Paul Dean Sorter; a sister, Wanda Kuny; one grandson; one great-grandson; and one step-granddaughter.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Scott Sutton of Sikeston and Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter of Essex officiating.

Interment followed in the New Morley Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
