Goldie Marie Medlock of Farmington died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, at Ashbrook Residential Care Center at the age of 91. She was born Sept. 9, 1916, at Sedgewickville, the daughter of Thomas F. and Uzebia (Rhyne) Killian.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, I.V. D Holland and Mildred Laffoon; and one brother, Berninard Killian.

She enjoyed her church and family and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington.

She is survived by one son, Ted (Glenda) Medlock of Charleston; one daughter, Glenna, Mrs. Phil Tatum of Farmington; grandchildren, Tracey Medlock of Charleston and Kelly Cox of Festus; four great-grandchildren, Amanda and Trent Medlock of Charleston, and Kalyn, and Brady Cox of Festus. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, from 4:30 - 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Friday with a funeral service at the Cozean Chapel at 10 a.m. with Dr. William Miller officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Dexter City Cemetery at Dexter. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church of Farmington.
