Brad and Neila Gilmer and Johnny and Rhonda Daniels have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Marie Daniels, to Jeffery Scott Rawson, son of Scott and Dena Rawson of Dexter.

A 2004 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School, the future bride will graduate in December of 2008 from Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in education.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Dexter High School and earned a degree in marketing advertising and promotion in 2007 from Missouri State University and has started career in marketing at JVIC in Springfield.

Plans are being finalized for a January 5 wedding at New Home General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
