Larry David Ivy, 57, of Mount Vernon, Ill., was born June 9, 1950, in Essex and died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia, Ill. He was the son of David A. and Mary Delphia "Doris" Ivy.

Survivors include his mother, Delphia "Doris" Ivy of Mount Vernon, Ill.; and one sister, Sharon Coultas of Canton, Ga., and friend Jeff Rigden of Canton, Ga.; one niece, Sharisa Dunavan of Middle Granville, N.Y.; one nephew, Jared Coultas and wife Stacy of Woodlawn, Ill.; great-nephews and great-nieces, Gavin and Seth, Alissa and Cassidy; one brother-in-law, Joe Coultas of Woodlawn, Ill.

His father preceded him in death.

Larry was a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Mount Vernon.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Ill.

Funera serviceservices were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Mount Vernon, Ill. with Reverend Steve Edwards officiating.

Interment followed in Boyd Cemetery in Boyd, Ill.

Memorials may be given to the Calvary United Pentecostal Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mount Vernon, Ill. 62864.
