Ricky Joe Jordan, son of Bennie Joe Jordan and Doris Sells Jordan of Dexter was born on May 17, 1955 at Poplar Bluff and died at the Winn Army Hospital in Ft. Stewart, Ga., on Oct. 6, 2007, at the age of 52.

Mr. Jordan was a fabric panel installer for Brambier Construction, a resident of Decatur, Ga., formerly of Dexter.

Besides his parents, survivors include two sisters, Kimberly Geary and husband Bob of Salem and Kelly Schaeffer and husband Craig of Atlanta, Ga.; one nephew, Zach Geary; four nieces, Emma Schaeffer, Jordan Schaeffer, Lindsey Geary and Sophia Geary.

Visitation will be held at the A. S. Turner Funeral Home in Decatur, Ga., from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, in the A. S. Turner Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2007, at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hunter with Dr. Curtis Porter officiating.
