Brad and Rose Angela Spears of Bell City would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kathryn Anne Spears to Alex Joseph Broch. He is the son of Harlan and JoNell Broch of Washington.

Spears is a 2002 graduate of Bell City High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education from Hannibal-LaGrange College. She currently teaches at Advance Elementary.

Broch is a 2003 graduate of Washington High School. He graduated from the SEMO Law Enforcement Academy in Cape Girardeau. He currently works for Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff's Department.

The wedding is planned for Nov. 24, 2007, at St. Denis Church in Benton.
